East Greenwich Public Schools requires a criminal background check with fingerprints and a Tuberculosis test with a negative result. Substitute Teacher Training Program Overview- FREE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Did you know that anyone with two years of college experience can substitute teach in RI? Are you currently underemployed or unemployed, or simply looking for a change in your career? Are you a college student taking a gap year, or looking for a flexible work schedule?

New hires are required to present documents to establish identity and employment authorization. Please see the list of acceptable documents that you should bring:
Employment Eligibility Verification: Acceptable Documents
Substitute Teachers Non-Certified: $125/day
Substitute Teachers Certified: $150/day
LTS Teachers Certified: $200/day
Substitute Nurses: $225/day
Substitute Paraprofessionals: $15.97/hour
Substitute Custodians: $14.05/hour

If you would like direct deposit, please fill out the follow form and submit to the Fiscal Office at 111 Peirce Street. Please attach a void check or a bank form confirming your account information.
Time sheets must be turned in to the Fiscal Office by the end of day on Friday.
